We have been Westmancoat customers for some years and have always been very pleased with the service we have received. We have had visits from Adrian, this morning Jack [new to us] and a young man whose name escapes me but who rescued us when our washing machine decided it was time to flood the kitchen! Without exception, all Westmancoat staff who have visited us have been courteous, professional and highly efficient at what they were here to do. This includes Sandy in the office who is always unfailingly courteous and helpful.

We highly recommend you as a company in how you conduct your business and serve your customers.

I have been using WESTMANCOAT Pumbers for boiler service for a few years, including the installation of a new gas boiler. They have always been helpful prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They have given me useful guidance and advise about my heating system when asked. I would recommend them on the experience that I have had with them.

Jack came to service our boiler and two gas fires last Friday, 7th June.

He was smartly presented in corporate dress, polite and courteous.

He was, at all times, very conscious of his surroundings and demonstrated a high degree of professionalism on task. He was particularly tidy with both personal tools, equipment and the contents of our home.

All in all, we were most impressed with his service delivery, fitting with that we have come to expect with your company over many years. Long may it continue.

My wife and I have used Westmancoat for a number of years both in our own house and in our rental properties and we have always found both the standard of service and quality of work to be excellent. Naturally a change of ownership brings some uncertainty but we need not have worried. The two jobs undertaken since the takeover have been dealt with quickly and efficiently as usual. The  great work force has been retained and there seems a determination to carry on and develop the company further. Yesterday your central heating service engineer Jack came to service our Worcester boiler and he did an excellent job. He was thorough, careful and very pleasant to talk to.  About 2 years ago, we moved into the property and we used Westmancoat to replace the central heating boiler, radiators and some of the pipework – the guys that did the work, Jack, Max and Harrison were very good and did a good job. The system has been working well since it was installed. I knew Paul Summers personally and was a bit concerned when I heard that he had sold the business, but I’m really pleased that you are continuing the business in the same manner and also that you have kept on the excellent staff. I wish you well in the future with your business.

Josh was absolutely fabulous. He explained everything that needed to be done, including timescales and was always willing to discuss pros and cons around the choice of different resources. Both Josh and his apprentice were quiet workers and also tidied up after themselves when messy work was involved. The work has been completed swiftly, to an excellent standard and I’d be more than happy to recommend westmancoat and Josh to my friends.

I am writing to you following a visit by two of your employees, Jack and Max, who came to service our boiler on Friday 14th June 2024.

We would like to say that they were both incredibly polite and helpful. We wish other companies we use were half as efficient as the aforementioned employees.

They both deserve credit for the state of your company vehicle, which was immaculate (even the wheels were spotless).

I guess that you realise that Jack and Max give Westmancoat a good reputation.

We had our Worcester Bosch combi boiler fitted by Westmancoat a few years ago. The servicing since has been carried out by your firm every year since.

We just wanted to say it has always been excellent service.

 Today your engineer, Jack serviced our boiler . What a lovely polite, kind and understanding young man.

He was very efficient  , tidy and more than that ,he is so knowledgeable about gas etc . He answered all our queries regarding the future of gas boilers and reassured us we would be able to keep our boiler and if  it needed converting to Gas/Hydrogen it would be relatively cheap and simple.

He did advise us that heat pumps for us would most probably involve stripping out our existing pipes and radiators as they would not be compatible with the volume of water needed for the pump.

Jack also explained in simple terms to us how to check and keep the inflation tank at the correct pressure. 

Jack is a wonderful engineer and we are sure you must be very proud to employ  his expert skills  in your company.

Also very importantly he has great communication and social skills.. We look forward to seeing him again next year.

I have had the Boiler serviced today and wanted to say how impressed I was with Jack, besides doing a good job of checking the boiler, he was very polite and helpful, and I felt comfortable having him in my home.

We have used Westmancoat Plumbing and Heating for quite a number of years now and have had several new boiler and plumbing installations during this time. Throughout, they have been an excellent firm to work with and still continue under Carl’s new leadership. Quality of work and attention to the customer’s particular requirements are part of the firm’s ethos. Always on time, efficient and polite, they are a delight to have and are always ready to deal with any unsuspected contingency, minor or major. All the staff attain high marks, particularly Adrian, who has played a very big part during our latest en suite installation.

Just a short note of thanks for the service your staff carried out today. David, my father in law, is now 92, so I was pleased to see the care your staff took to ensure he could operate the fire safely.

Your colleague came to service our boiler yesterday.  We were very pleased with the work carried out which, as always, was very thorough.  He discovered a drop in Gas pressure and arranged for British Gas to call and they arrived to put it right within an hour.  We go back about 16 years with Westmancoats, soon after we came to Exmouth in 2006.  We have had excellent support from Adrian.

Westmancoats will always be our first call and we have no intention of going elsewhere.

Glad to see great service still continuing at Westmancoat.

We’re pleased to say that following the service and fitting of key replacement parts last week our boiler is now operating as it should and all appears ok.

We were pleased with Jack’s approach : he was polite and efficient, and able to explain the problem and solution without blinding us with science! The prompt response at the weekend to the component issue which arose was much appreciated. Your bill received is being paid as I write.

I have had a long and varied career which has involved construction and I do not recall a tradesman as well organised, knowledgeable and efficient as Jack. I have the highest regard for Westmancoat; Jack has taken high to a new level. I have no hesitation in recommending Westmancoat for any job within their area of work.
